So, what is included in these Pregnancy Yoga Classes ?

First of all, you are going to enjoy 75 minutes of blissful Me Time !  We will start off by having a chat about different pregnancy topics before doing some centering.  Centering allows us to completely quieten our minds,  see how we feel in the present moment and to set an intention for the day’s practice.  This will add focus to the yoga practice.  We may also do some EFT Tapping to help reduce stress and anxiety.


Next we will draw our attention to our breath.  During pregnancy, you are now breathing for two so the oxygen needs of the baby need to be met.  As we go through the course of our classes, you will learn a number of breathing practices which will support you during your pregnancy and also for the first and second stages of the birth of your baby.


After our breath work, we will start moving gently into our yoga postures, working to strengthen our joints and our muscles, strengthening the pelvic floor and making a nurturing and comfortable space in your body, for you and your baby.


We will complete our practice with a deep and relaxing Yoga Nidra.
