Introduction

This is Soul Therapies official online privacy policy and it applies to all personal information collected by Catherine Rutherford of Soul Therapies. Catherine Rutherford recognises that your privacy is very important and is fully committed to respecting it. All information will be treated confidentially and with the highest standards of security. It will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which governs the privacy of your personal information when you deal with me. I will never disclose your personal information to any third party unless I have your permission to do so.

This policy applies to Soul Therapies website and domains. This Policy does not apply to third-party applications, websites, products, services or platforms that may be accessed through Soul Therapies links that we may provide to you. These sites are owned and operated independently from us, and they have their own separate privacy and data collection practices. Any Personal Data that you provide to these websites will be governed by the third-party’s own privacy policy. We cannot accept liability for the actions or policies of these independent sites, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such sites.

Collection of Information

Personal information is collected from people in the following situations;

  • If you contact Catherine Rutherford from her website, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, LinkedIn, by email, by phone or by text. Soul Therapies may keep a record of that correspondence. This correspondence is password protected.

  • When you submit your email address to my website mailing list, it is held by a third party marketing company (Modern/Google) for the purposes of sending emails and newsletters. These companies are GDPR compliant.

  • When you complete a Consultation Form prior to a treatment at Soul Therapies or any other workshop or events, your information is held in Modern and Evernote.

  • When you complete the Checkout process in my online store.

What Personal Information do we Collect ?

When you make a purchase, or attempt to make a purchase, or book an appointment, we collect the following types of Personal Data:

  • Account Information such as your name, email address, and password

  • Payment Information such as your billing address, phone number, credit card, debit card or other payment method

  • Purchase Information specifically if personalized or unique.

  • I may use or disclose personal information held about an individual for the primary purpose for which it is collected (e.g. provision of my services, including administration of my services, notification to you about changes to my services, record-keeping following termination of my services to you and technical maintenance).

How we Keep Your Data Safe

Catherine Rutherford places significant importance on the security of all information associated with her customers. She has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under her control. Personal information is de-identified or destroyed securely when no longer required by me. Client Information is digitally stored in a doubly encrypted online system (Evernote and Modern) and can only be accessed by those entrusted with authority and password sanctions. As a result, while Catherine strives to protect user’s personal information she cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to it or from its online products or services, and users do so at their own risk.

Once your transmission has been received, every effort is made to ensure its security on her systems. Catherine Rutherford is committed to maintaining accurate, timely, relevant and appropriate information about her customers.
